See I’m Smiling..

This production was done at ACT of Connecticut as their first show back since March, and kicking off their third season of productions as a company. I was present for load-in and tech, and ran the console for all rehearsals and performances. With many adjustments made for doing a show during COVID, we implemented different procedures for line checking the band and Aviom systems. Gloves were worn any time we were interacting with equipment outside of our own stations. Actors’ microphones were prepared and bagged before being placed in dressing rooms so as not to come into contact with anything before they were put through hair. Likewise, the musicians’ stations were sanitized after line check and had disinfecting wipes available to them at their stations, in addition to everyone following proper social distancing and mask guidelines per AEA and the State of Connecticut.

This show was done on a DigiCo SD9 console.

Press

“Musical director Bryan Perri brings his brilliance to bear for this production. The nuance of notes, the accompanying strings, played by David Restivo and Melissa Westgate, as well as Perri’s superb piano skills all add layers to the emotional pull of this piece.” - Elizabeth Young, The Newton Bee
